Penn State will be squaring off against Ohio on Saturday. Ohio HC Tim Albin spoke about what the chance of playing the Nittany Lions is like per Chance Linton of 247Sports.

Albin has some B1G ties, as he was at Nebraska back in the day. He was a graduate assistant from 2000-2002, and the passing game coordinator and RB coach in 2003. This will be Albin’s 1st season as head coach of Ohio.

Penn State 5-1 against Ohio. The last time that the 2 played was back in 2012, and resulted in a 24-14 upset for Ohio. The Nittany Lions are coming off of a thrilling comeback 35-31 victory over Purdue in Week 1.

Albin is looking forward to the challenge:

“Super excited about the opportunity,” Albin said of facing Penn State. “It’s about a five-hour bus ride. It’ll be a great travel. And it’s a great opportunity for our team and we’re focusing on taking a big step. The time in between your first game and your second game is when you’re going to make your most improvement. That’s an old coaching cliché, but it’s very true. So, we’re looking forward to the challenge.”

Penn State and Ohio kick off at noon ET on Sept. 10 on ABC.
