Quinn Ewers has made it clear that he’s fully committed to Ohio State. The nation’s top-ranked player and 5-star quarterback in the 2022 class is now doing his best to land some of the other highly-ranked prospects in the cycle.
He’s got a pretty good pitch, too.
Speaking on 247Sports’ recruiting podcast, Ewers revealed what he’s telling other prospects in the 2022 class, as he attempts to help head coach Ryan Day and Co. build one of the nation’s best recruiting classes. The message is pretty clear.
“Do you wanna play for a national championship almost every year that you’re gonna be here?” Ewers said on the podcast.

That’s a pretty convincing pitch. And given Ohio State’s success under Day — winning two B1G titles and appearing in the College Football Playoff each of the last two seasons — Ewers is spot on. If the Buckeyes continue to recruit at a high level, there’s no reason to think their success would drift off, either.
Ohio State currently owns the nation’s top-ranked recruiting class. There’s still five months until the Early Signing Period, but the Buckeyes are in really good shape right now. Day and the staff are working hard, and it sounds like Ewers is doing his part, as well.
