One of the best wide receivers in the 2021 recruiting class is headed to Columbus.
Thursday, four-star wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., son of NFL Hall of Famer and former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison, announced his commitment to Ohio State. He made his announcement public via a Twitter post.
According to 247Sports, Harrison is ranked as the No. 8 receiver in the 2021 class and is listed as the No. 54 player overall in the cycle. The Philadelphia native is also the fourth-best player out of Pennsylvania.
Harrison becomes the sixth player to join Ohio State’s 2021 recruiting class. He’s currently listed as the third-highest recruit for the Buckeyes.

Harrison’s father, Marvin Harrison, enjoyed a 13-season career in the NFL, spending his entire time with the Indianapolis Colts. He ended his career with 1,102 catches for 14,580 receiving yards and 128 touchdowns.
In addition to Ohio State, Harrison held offers from Florida, Arkansas, Baylor and Georgia Tech. He held 19 total offers.
