Ohio State dominated in Week 6, rolling to a huge win over Maryland to improve to 5-1 on the season.

Since the loss to Oregon, the Buckeyes have looked like a much different squad. The offense is clicking on all cylinders while the defense has been much sharper.

In the win over the Terrapins, receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba was one of the stars. He did not record a touchdown but he had 5 catches for 103 yards with some big plays.

Smith-Nijgba was awarded the Offensive Player of the Game for the week:

So far this season, Smith-Njigba ranks third on the Buckeyes with 23 catches for 452 yards and 3 TDs. However, his 19.7 yards per catch is tops for any OSU player with more than 10 catches, better than even Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson.

On the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Steele Chambers shined with 5 tackles and a QB hurry to his credit. The converted running back is starting to find his groove with 19 total tackles on the season, sixth-best on the Buckeyes.

For special teams, freshman wide receiver Emeka Egbuka received the honor. He recorded 4 returns for 166 yards with a long of 67 yards against the Terps. Egbuka is now averaging 34.4 yards per kickoff return on the season.
