Ohio State and Penn State are set to square off in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday afternoon with the game’s winner likely securing a spot in the Big Ten Championship game.

Although Penn State is the No. 2-ranked team in the country, No. 6-ranked Ohio State is projected to win the Big Ten. Ohio State has a 38 percentage chance to win the conference, compared to just a 26 percent chance for Penn State.

However, Penn State odds to make the College Football Playoffs are higher. They have a 37 percentage chance to make the playoffs to Ohio State’s 34 percent.

No. 5-ranked Wisconsin also has a 35 percent chance to win the Big Ten and a 34 percent possibility of securing one of the four playoff spots.

Ohio State is 15-8 all-time against Penn State, but lost last season’s meeting on the road, 24-21. The Buckeyes allowed 17 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
