An Ohio State center has won the Rimington Trophy for a second straight season.
On Thursday, Billy Price was named the winner of the 2017 Rimington Trophy, presented to the best center in college football. Price wins the award just one year after former Buckeye Pat Elflein was presented with the trophy.
This is the first time in the 19-year history of the award that a school has produced back-to-back winners.

Price has been a starter for the Buckeyes for four seasons, but this was his first year at center. In his first three seasons in Columbus, Price was a starting guard.
Ohio State owned one of the best offenses in the country in 2017, including the B1G’s most prolific rushing attack. Price has been an anchor in the trenches this season.
Price is a two-time team captain at Ohio State and has made 54 consecutive starts, a program record.
