Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day is impressed by Demario McCall after he switched positions earlier this offseason.
McCall was originally a running back his first 5 years with the school but has put in some good work during the offseason at cornerback.
Day said as much during a radio interview on Tuesday.
Ryan Day says he wishes Demario McCall would have moved to cornerback earlier because Day likes what he's seen from McCall at his new position this offseason.
“You're gonna see him on Thursday night.”

As Hope also reports, it looks like McCall is also going to get some reps during OSU’s Week 1 matchup against Minnesota on Thursday.
McCall will be a 6th year senior this season after first joining the program in 2016. His best season as a running back came during that year as a freshman when he finished with 270 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also had 84 yards receiving for the season and a touchdown to go with it.
For his career, McCall finished with 565 rushing yards and 6 touchdowns, plus 300 yards receiving.
It’s not known if he’ll be in the slot or outside on Thursday night but he’ll be making his debut there at 8:00 p.m. ET.
