Rounding out their regular season with an 8-2 record, Ohio State wide receiver commit Jaxon Smith-Njigba and the Rockwall (Texas) Yellowjackets rolled past the Mesquite Skeeters on Friday, 66-42.
Holding the Texas state record for receiving yards at the 6A level, Smith-Njigba widened the margin with a 325-yard, four-touchdown performance.
No stranger to highlight reel plays, he added to his mystique on Friday.

The No. 9 wideout in the 2020 cycle according to the 247Sports Composite, Smith-Njigba is the No. 7 player in the Lone Star State.
Holding 24 verbal commits, the Buckeyes’ upcoming class ranks No. 4 nationally and No. 1 in the B1G. In addition to Smith-Njigba, Ohio State has secured the pledge of three other wide receivers: Pattonville Senior (Saint Louis, Missouri) four-star Mookie Cooper, Southern Columbia (Catawissa, Pennsylvania) five-star Julian Fleming and Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, Washington) four-star Gee Scott Jr.
Smith-Njigba and the Yellowjackets will next be in action at home in the bi-district round.
Idle on Saturday, the No. 3 Buckeyes (8-0) will host Maryland on November 9 at 12:00PM ET on FOX.
