An Ohio State basketball commit has been awarded with the highest individual high school honor in the state.
Brice Sensabaugh, a 4-star small forward in Ohio State’s 2022 recruiting class, was named Florida Mr. Basketball this week. He receives the honor after averaging 25.1 and 7.2 rebounds per game at Lake Highland Prep in Orlando.
The team earned a trip to the semifinal round of the state tournament before suffering a loss. It was a big year for Sensabaugh, who missed last season with a knee injury.
Per 247Sports, Sensabaugh ranks as the No. 61 overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. The 6-foot-6 small forward also ranks as the No. 16 player at his position.
Sensabaugh committed to Ohio State over offers from nearly two dozen programs. He’s part of a Buckeyes class that ranks fifth nationally and No. 1 in the B1G.
