Ohio State defensive back Jantzen Dunn is officially a Buckeye.

He was one of three Ohio State freshmen to lose their black stripes on Friday, joining offensive lineman Donovan Jackson and defensive back Jordan Hancock.

Here’s Dunn’s announcement:

“I just want to thank y’all boys for mentoring me and sticking with me,” Dunn said. “I love y’all boys, shout out BIA. Go Bucks!”

Dunn was a consensus 4-star recruit in the class of 2021. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Dunn was the No. 172 overall player and the No. 10 safety in the country.

Dunn attended South Warren High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds.

A large percentage of Ohio State’s freshman class has now lost their black stripes, but there’s still a few more to go before opening night.

Ohio State opens its season with Minnesota on Sept. 2.
