Ohio State drops season-opening hype video for Week 1 narrated by Archie Griffin

Ohio State is finally ready to get the 2024 season rolling, one full of elite expectations and a supremely talented roster.

After a long offseason of changes and roster additions, the Buckeyes will begin their journey with a Week 1 matchup against Akron. That matchup against the Zips should be a blowout, and hopefully it’s a harbinger of the big things to come down the road.

For now, fans can settle in and watch the first hype video of the 2024 season. Ohio State unveiled the trailer Thursday evening, complete with a narration from Buckeye legend Archie Griffin.

Ohio State remains among the heavy favorites to play for a title per the latest national championship odds produced by Caesars. Star transfers Quinshon Judkins and Caleb Downs are expected to be must-see additions, and a host of veteran Buckeyes also return to lead the push.

Will the journey result in playing for a B1G title before reaching the College Football Playoff? Michigan has held a stranglehold on The Game and the conference, but Ryan Day and the Buckeyes are trying to right the ship this fall.
