Ohio State heavy favorite vs. Rutgers

Vegas doesn’t believe Ohio State will have much trouble with Rutgers in Piscataway this weekend.

The Buckeyes opened as a 28.5-point favorite for Saturday’s B1G showdown, not giving the Scarlet Knights much of a chance to pull of the upset. That spread isn’t a huge surprise, as the Buckeyes currently sit 3-1 while the Scarlet Knights enter the contest 1-3.

This will be the second B1G game of the year for both teams. Ohio State opened the year with a win over Indiana in Bloomington. Rutgers is coming off a 27-17 loss to Nebraska.

The Buckeyes haven’t had any trouble with Rutgers in the three meetings, outscoring the Scarlet Knights 163-24 in the past three seasons. Ohio State is 3-0 in the all-time series.

Saturday’s game in Piscataway is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET and will air on Big Ten Network.
