Ohio State is still scheduled to compete in the Battle 4 Atlantis when basketball season rolls around, but the event will no longer be held in the Bahamas.
CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein reported on Monday the basketball event will be making a temporary move to Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the 2020 tournament. The move comes as college athletics continues to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

Per Rothstein, dates have not been announced for the event. The NCAA Division I Council is expected to vote on a start date for the college basketball on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Once that is decided, dates for the Battle 4 Atlantis may be announced.
This year’s Battle 4 Atlantis field is loaded with quality teams. In addition to Ohio State, the event will feature Duke, West Virginia, Memphis, Texas A&M, Utah, Creighton and Wichita State.
Last year’s winner of the Battle 4 Atlantis was Michigan.
