Ohio State added to its Class of 2027 ranks on Monday with the commitment of 4-star interior offensive lineman Davis Seaman, one of the 300 best players in the cycle according to 247Sports.
Seaman is the 11th high school addition of the offseason for the Buckeyes, who own a top 5 ranking in the 2027 cycle. He stands at 6-foot-3, 290 pounds and attends Bishop Watterson HS in Columbus, making him the 4th in-state addition for the Buckeyes. Notably, he plays both sides of the line of scrimmage at Bishop Watterson, though he best projects as an offensive guard at the next level.
Seaman chose the Buckeyes over the likes of Auburn, Illinois, Nebraska and Penn State, to name a few.
Ohio State now has 5 offensive linemen committing in the 2027 cycle. Seaman joins 4-stars OT Kellyn Wymer and Jimmy Kalis as well as 3-stars Mason Wilt and Brody McNeel.
According to 247Sports, Seaman is considered to be the No. 241 overall prospect in the country, as well as the No. 15 IOL and No. 8 prospect out of Ohio.
