Ohio State earned a big-time commit in the class of 2025 on Sunday morning.
The Buckeyes landed a pledge from 5-star cornerback Na’eem Offord. An Alabama native, Offord chose the Buckeyes over numerous other elite programs from across the country.
He shared the news of his commitment with On3’s Hayes Fawcett:

Offord is one of the best high school prospects in the country, regardless of position. He’s the No. 5 overall player and the No. 1 cornerback in the nation for the class of 2025. He’s also the No. 1 player from the state of Alabama.
Offord attends Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds.
Ohio State now has 8 commits in the class of 2025, including a pair of 5-star prospects. The Buckeyes also have a commitment from Devin Sanchez, who is the No. 2 cornerback in the country for this cycle.
Overall, Ohio State’s 2025 recruiting class sits at No. 4 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
