Ohio State is working on compiling the 2024 recruiting class under Ryan Day and his staff, and the Buckeyes are still in the running for another elite wide receiver for the cycle.

The player is Keylen Adams, a 6-foot-1 and 175-pound prospect out of Green Run High School in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Brian Hartline is trying to reel in the 4-star WR as Ohio State landed on Adams’ final 5 list alongside Virginia Tech, Alabama, South Carolina and Pitt Saturday afternoon.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Adams is a 4-star recruit and the 26th WR prospect nationally for the 2024 recruiting class. He’s also rated as the No. 2 player out of Virginia and the 180th prospect in the country for the cycle regardless of position.

There’s no denying adding elite talent helps any program no matter the position, but it is hard to initially see where Adams would potentially fit into Ohio State’s 2024 recruiting class. As things currently stand, the Buckeyes hold a pair of commitments from 5-star WRs in Jeremiah Smith (No. 1 WR in the country) and Mylan Graham (No. 4 WR).

Ohio State’s recruiting class is currently ranked 2nd nationally by the team composite. Jeremiah Smith — the No. 2 player in the nation — headlines that group.
