Now that camps are opening across the college football landscape, it’s time for everyone to start talking about the upcoming season — who is expected to do well, who isn’t, and what teams will end up where.

And of course, everyone has an opinion.

Fox CFB analyst R.J. Young has come up with his top 10 picks for the upcoming season. As Young explained, he puts a premium on coaching continuity, almost as significant as returning QB play. But he also looked at who went into the transfer portal and added to their recruiting haul during the off-season, and gave credit there.

Just one B1G team made Young’s cut, with Ohio State coming in at the No. 3 spot. Young likes Ryan Day and his staff, and emphasizes the strength of the Buckeyes wide receiver corps.

On top of his list, not surprising from the Tulsa native, are the Oklahoma Sooners. Although Young does make a strong case for the Sooners being the premire team in the land.

A full list of his top 10 were posted on the Fox College Football twitter feed this afternoon.
