Ohio State and Purdue will meet again next Saturday and OSU is hoping to not have what happened 3 years ago happen again.

The Buckeyes come into this matchup as the No. 5 team in the country in the latest College Football Playoff poll. They’re also 8-1 as they’ve won 6 in a row since losing to Oregon. That said, they also have another streak going that has been in place in 2018.

They haven’t lost a game in the B1G since that year and it came against those same Boilermakers.

OSU controls its own destiny the rest of the way, though Purdue has played the role of “spoiler” twice this season. A few weeks ago, it went into Iowa City and took down then No. 2 Iowa, 24-7 before upsetting No. 3 Michigan State, 40-29 on Nov. 6.

Purdue is also locked into a 4-way tie for 1st place in the B1G West as it looks to get to Indianapolis. Kickoff for this all-important matchup will be at 3:30 p.m.
