Ohio State has made history. With a 28-17 win over Penn State on Saturday, the Buckeyes have set a new B1G standard.
With the victory on Saturday, Ohio State became the first B1G team to win three-straight division titles since the conference split in 2011. This marks the third-straight year the Buckeyes have locked up a trip to Indianapolis to compete for a conference title.
Two years ago, Ohio State defeated Wisconsin. Last year, it knocked off Northwestern.
A third-straight B1G East title isn’t the only thing going right for the Buckeyes, though. According to Big Ten Network, Ohio State has accomplished plenty more with the victory over Penn State.
Saturday’s victory marked the 17th-straight victory for Ohio State dating back to the 2018 season. It’s currently the second-longest active streak in FBS, behind Clemson.
Ohio State also improved to 29-2 in the month of November since 2012. That 93.5 win percentage is the best in that sport during that stretch.
