Ohio State is in the running for a key offensive line prospect via the class of 2023.
The player is Olaus Alinen, a 4-star offensive lineman. Originally from Finland, Alinen is playing his high school ball at The Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Connecticut.
Alinen dropped his top 4 schools on Friday morning with the Buckeyes still in the running. Ohio State is joined by Alabama and Georgia out of the SEC and Miami (Fl.) out of the ACC.

Listed at 6-foot-6 and 315 lbs., the 247 Sports Composite Rankings list Alinen as the top player out of Connecticut for the class of 2023. He is also the No. 14 OT nationally and the 127th overall prospect in the country regardless of position.
Ohio State currently holds 5 commitments for the class of 2023. 4-star OT Luke Montgomery currently headlines that class with 4-star IOL Joshua Padilla included. Adding Alinen would be a big boost for the Buckeyes.
