Ohio State matchup tops StubHub’s list of in-demand CFB games for 2023

One Ohio State matchup in the 2023 season is primed to be the most in-demand game this fall per StubHub.
According to a Tuesday announcement, StubHub listed Ohio State’s Sept. 23 matchup at Notre Dame as the most in-demand college football game for the fall. That’s based on StubHub’s ticket sales for the 2023 season. Ohio State’s road trip to Michigan for The Game is also No. 2 on StubHub’s list of in-demand games.
StubHub also listed Ohio State as the team dominating demand on the road. The Buckeyes fell just outside of the top 10 of most in-demand teams for the fall, but the program does have the biggest increase on average ticket prices as the away team.
StubHub revealed a nearly 92% spike for Ohio State road tickets. That stems from the road games against Notre Dame and Michigan topping the list of top-selling games this season.
“Big games at Notre Dame and Michigan have Ohio State’s fanbase rallied to support their team in these electric environments on the road,” said Adam Budelli, spokesperson for StubHub. “Anytime Ohio State is the visiting team, we see a 92% uptick in average ticket prices.”
Ohio State plays 6 true-road games this fall, including the season opener on Sept. 2 against Indiana. The Buckeyes also face a pair of new head coaches on the road: at Purdue (Ryan Walters) on Oct. 14 and at Wisconsin (Luke Fickell) on Oct. 28.
