Cruz is a big-time target for Ohio State. He’s the No. 274 overall player and the No. 18 interior offensive lineman in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 49 player from the state of Texas.
He attends Richland High School in North Richland Hills, Texas. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 295 pounds.
Texas has become an important state for Ohio State’s recruiting strategy. The Buckeyes already have 2 commitments from the state of Texas in this cycle. Ohio State has signed 3 player from the Lone Star State over the past 2 classes.
