Ohio State’s offense is not playing too hot in the game with Northwestern. Is the rainy weather starting to effect Ohio State’s offense?
The running game was not been able to get going as Miyan Williams has been shut down. Quarterback C.J. Stroud also struggled with under 50 yards passing in the first half.
It’s still early, but things are not going well for Ohio State. The Buckeyes have had slow starts in their past three games. Iowa and Penn State were no different. Ohio State did manage to score just before the half on a 15-yard TD rush from Emeka Egbuka.

CLAIM NOW!Fans on social media talked about how this has become the norm for Ohio State recently. If the Buckeyes don’t figure things out it could get even worse against 1-7 Northwestern.
Here’s how the fanbase reacted to the poor start:
Ohio State’s offense has 72 yards and zero points in six possessions.

Bad weather or not, this is the third straight ugly start for the Ohio State offense since returning from the bye week.

Ohio State’s offense has absolutely nothing going early. Day electing to run outside needing just a yard. Questionable, at best.

Yeah this Ohio state offense ain’t close to the one they had last year

This Ohio State offense just does not move me at all. I think their offense is extremely overrated, but I also think their defense is slightly underrated.

Once again, Ohio State play calling is just baffling on offense.

Ohio State and Ryan Day are just playing the dumbest possible game on offense right now.
I know it’s obvious, but I’d FORCE the ball to Marvin Harrison Jr on every single play vs whatever they are doing. They don’t need to go deep, just let the man work and give him the ball.

Ohio State’s offense is making Northwestern’s defense look like they are the 1985 Bears.
This game is approaching Sicko Mode territory @TomFornelli
