Ohio State OT Paris Johnson Jr. offers tribute to Dwayne Haskins during camp hotel check-in

Ohio State began preseason camp on Thursday, but Sunday brought the traditional start of the session with the team’s check-in to the Hyatt Place hotel not far from campus near Grandview Heights. It’ll remain there until the close of camp days before the season opener against Notre Dame on Sept. 3 at Ohio Stadium.

During the offseason, the Buckeyes program lost one of its standout players of recent years in Dwayne Haskins. Haskins, signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers at the time of his death, was only 24 years old when he was struck by a pair of vehicles on a Florida interstate on April 9.

And, as you can see below, offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr. honored the memory of the former Ohio State quarterback by wearing a Dwayne Haskins t-shirt while making his way to the team hotel:
