4-star EDGE Booker Pickett Jr. revealed his top 9 programs on Tuesday morning, and both Big Ten giants made the cut. He’s also still considering Tennessee, Florida State, South Carolina, USC, Louisville, Georgia and Miami.

Pickett hails from Tampa, Fla. He attends Wharton High School and is listed at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds.
Pickett currently ranks as one of the top overall prospects in the country. He’s the No. 52 overall player and the No. 6 EDGE in the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 11 player from the state of Florida.
Ohio State’s 2024 recruiting class is off to a strong start. The Buckeyes have 3 commitments already, including one from 5-star receiver Jeremiah Smith. The group ranks No. 16 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Penn State has 2 commitments so far in this cycle. The Nittany Lions’ class ranks No. 17 in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
