Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. responds to Shea Patterson news

The Ohio State-Michigan rivalry doesn’t need any additional juice. The Game is considered to be one of the best rivalries in sports, not just college football. But the 2018 matchup might’ve just gotten a little more interesting.
At least that’s what Buckeyes quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. believes.
Monday afternoon, ex-Ole Miss quarterback Shea Patterson announced that he would be transferring to Michigan to join a team that many believe can compete for a B1G title. And if he’s eligible immediately, 2018 could be a special year for the Wolverines.
Patterson made his announcement via Twitter on Monday. Shortly after that, Haskins tweeted out a response, saying “Rivalry just got a little more interesting bro.”

Patterson was a former five-star prospect in 2016 recruiting class and was the top-ranked pro-style quarterback. Not far behind, Haskins sat as the No. 7 prospect among pro-style quarterbacks and had a four-star rating.
If Patterson is eligible and Haskins wins the starting the job, the two could square off against each other next November when Michigan travels to Columbus to play Ohio State.
Ohio State defeated Michigan 31-20 last season to win a sixth straight game in the series. Urban Meyer has never lost to the Wolverines and Jim Harbaugh has never defeated the Buckeyes.
