Ohio State plays its 2023 home opener on Saturday as it welcomes Youngstown State to Ohio Stadium.

Things were a little too close for comfort for the Buckeyes in their Week 1 game against Indiana in Bloomington, which they only led 10-3 at halftime despite being heavily favored. They eventually pitched a 2nd-half shutout to win 23-3. Kyle McCord completed 20 of his 33 passes for 239 yards, throwing an interception versus 0 touchdowns, while Miyan Williams had a pair of rushing scores.

That said, beating Youngstown State figures to be a much easier task for Ohio State on Saturday. After this one, the Buckeyes host Western Kentucky before a potential top-10 primetime showdown against Notre Dame in South Bend on Sept. 23.

Ahead of their matchup against the Penguins, the Buckeyes released their weekly gameday trailer, which you can watch below:

It’s the third time the Buckeyes and Penguins have met on the gridiron. The last game between the 2 programs was in 2008, a 43-0 Ohio State win.

Kickoff from the Horseshoe is set for noon ET on the Big Ten Network.
