Ohio State was very good in Week 1, but the Buckeyes were even better in a 52-0 win against Western Michigan in Week 2. The defense has been hyped as maybe the best defense in football, and that unit was dominant on Saturday.
Western Michigan ran the ball 31 times for only 28 yards, good for 0.9 yards per carry. The Buckeyes pass defense was just as good, as they allowed 71 passing yards.
On offense, the Buckeyes showed tremendous balance. Β Ohio State threw for 410 yards as a team, while also rushing for 273 yards. Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson both rushed for 2 touchdowns in the game.
The Buckeyes announced on social media the Players of the Game for their team on offense, defense and special teams.
The aforementioned Judkins took the award on offense.
