Ohio State interim wide receivers coach Brian Hartline is contracted to make $105,000 in his new role, a report from the Columbus Dispatch stated on Monday.

Hartline was promoted to wide receivers coach following the firing of Zach Smith, who was a longtime assistant to Urban Meyer. Smith was fired over allegations of domestic violence incidents that occurred in 2009 and 2015.

In addition to the $105,000 salary, Hartline will receive $600 per month in an automobile stipend, as well as six tickets to Ohio State home games. His contract runs through Dec. 31.

This is the first full-time coaching gig for Hartline, who was a program assistant last year. He played at Ohio State in the 2000s and played nine years in the NFL.
