Ohio State sets official capacity for 2020 season

There will be no fans in attendance at B1G games this season, but schools are still setting capacity limits for the 2020 season.
On Monday, Ohio State announced that its attendance capacity for the upcoming season will be set at 1,600 this year. That includes teams and stadium staff members, as well as family members of players and coaches, according to Dan Hope of Eleven Warriors.
Per the report, Ohio State will have 656 player and coaching guests and visiting teams will be permitted to have around 400. There will be no cheerleaders, no marching band and no Brutus in attendance for home games this year.

When the B1G announced it was reversing its decision and reinstating a fall football season, it made a league-wide decision to not sell tickets to the general public. Instead, it will only allow the family of players and coaches to attend games inside the stadium.
As an alternative, several schools are selling cardboard cutouts of fans that can be placed inside the stadium for the year. Assistant athletic director of ticketing Brett Scarborough told Eleven Warriors that over 4,300 carboard cutouts have been sold thus far.
Ohio State is set to open the 2020 season at home against Nebraska on Saturday, Oct. 24. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET and FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff pregame show will be in Columbus outside The Shoe for pregame coverage.
