Ohio State fans will soon get the chance to play with their favorite Buckeyes in a video game.

No, the popular NCAA Football video game by EA Sports is not making its much-anticipated return. Instead, Ohio State will be added to the “Campus Legends” feature of EA Sports’ popular Madden 22 video game.

The release date is set for Friday, Jan. 14:

Playing in Campus Legends will allow fans to play online with a team of former NFL stars that attended Ohio State. The Buckeyes and Alabama will be new additions to Madden’s Campus Legends mode.

In previous installments, Campus Legends has featured Clemson, LSU, Texas, Miami, Michigan State, Nebraska, Oregon, Florida, Oklahoma, and USC.

Now, the debate of which Buckeye stars Madden will add to the roster will be an interesting one. Ezekiel Elliott, Chase Young, and Justin Fields were featured in the graphic from EA Sports though no word on the roster has been revealed.
