Ohio State volleyball downs Minnesota, advances to first regional round since 2004

Ohio State is moving on!
The Buckeyes downed 2-seed Minnesota Thursday to advance to the regional round of the 2022 NCAA Women’s Volleyball Tournament. The Buckeyes won in 4 sets, blitzing sets 2-4 for the 3-1 win (22-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-19.)

Emily Londot led the way with an incredible 29 kills, hitting .500 on the afternoon. Mac Podraza added 51 assists. This is Ohio State’s first visit to the regional round (final 8) since 2004.
The Buckeyes will face one of No. 1 seed Texas or No. 4 seed Marquette on Saturday at 6 p.m.
