Ohio State is trying to stay busy this weekend even after its game with Maryland was canceled due to COVID-19.
The Buckeyes announced Saturday morning that freshman defensive back Cameron Kittle has shed his black stripe.

“I just wanna thank God first of all, and I want to thank my family for getting me here and helping me out along the way,” Kittle said in the video. “All my coaches, the strength staff, Coach Coombs, BIA, and go Bucks!”
This is a great honor for Kittle, who is a walk-on defensive back from Glouster, Ohio. He was a three year starter at quarterback for Trimble High School before joining the Buckeyes’ program in June.
Ohio State will be back on the field next week as it takes on No. 10 Indiana for first place in the Big Ten East.
