E.J. Liddell isn’t quite ready to make a decision just yet.

On Wednesday, the Ohio State forward met with reporters and was asked about his future plans. The sophomore says, for right now, his main focus is getting his “life back to normal” before making any decision.

Specifically, Liddell has not made a decision yet on whether or not to test the NBA Draft waters. With the NCAA’s rules, he would be eligible to enter his name into the draft but withdraw before the deadline and return to Ohio State.

Liddell, a 6-foot-7 sophomore and one of the top interior players in the B1G during the 2020-21 season, averaged 16.2 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while shooting over 47% from the floor. He finished the season by scoring 23 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in the Buckeyes’ NCAA Tournament loss to Oral Roberts.

Liddell ended the season with three double-doubles and scored 20 points or more eight times throughout the year. Ohio State finished the season with a 21-10 record.
