Improving to 9-0, the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes ran past the Maryland Terrapins, 73-14, on Saturday at Ohio Stadium in Columbus.
Racing out to a 21-0 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 42-0 margin at the half, the Buckeyes were able to get their backups extensive playing time in the second half.
Jeremy Birmingham of Lettermen Row showed just how one-sided this game was on Twitter:
Ohio State had 705 yards of offense and played its starters for one half.

Hitting on 16-of-25 passes, sophomore quarterback Justin Fields finished with an even 200 yards and three scores through the air; he added another 28 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
While redshirt freshman Master Teague led the Buckeyes with 111 yards rushing, junior J.K. Dobbins made his presence felt, too, with 90 yards and two house calls on 12 carries.
Perhaps most impressively, 10 different Ohio State players registered at least one reception in the beatdown. Freshman Garrett Wilson posted a team-high 82 yards and a score on four catches.
The lone unbeaten team in the B1G East, the Buckeyes will look to reach the 10-win mark on November 16 against Rutgers (2-7, 0-6 B1G) in Piscataway.
Having plenty of time to lick their wounds, the Terrapins are idle until November 23 vs. No. 13 Wisconsin (6-2, 3-2).
