Ohio State is known for producing some of the most talented defensive backs in the game. It has adopted the mantra “BIA” to flex its dominance in the secondary.
Best in America.
The secondary is already showing up in a big way during Ohio State’s fall camp. This week, the Buckeyes shared videos of the defensive backs making some great plays. Obviously, it’s still fall camp, but it might be a sign of things to come in Columbus.
Below is the video shared from Ohio State’s Twitter account:

Ohio State’s secondary dipped from its typical high standard a year ago. Losing players like Jeff Okudah and Damon Arnette certainly contributed to that slight decline.
Head coach Ryan Day and defensive coordinator Kerry Coombs are confident that the play from defensive backs will look much better this fall. And with tough games against Oregon, Penn State, Indiana and others on the schedule, that’s a good thing.
The Buckeyes’ secondary will be tested right out of the game, traveling to the Twin Cities to play Minnesota on Thursday, Sept. 2.
