The Ohio State-Michigan rivalry is one of the most passionate not just in college football but all of sports. So it’s not unexpected that even those in the media can get swept up in wanting to represent for their alma mater.

During the Heisman Trophy ceremony last week and basking in the glow of Michigan’s first victory in the series since 2011, ESPN’s Desmond Howard took a shot at the Ohio State offensive line when interviewing Michigan defensive lineman Aidan Hutchinson.

Now, Ohio State offensive lineman Thayer Munford is firing back at the Michigan alum. The 6-foot-6, 321-pound senior didn’t mince words about how he felt about Howard’s comments.

Munford and the rest of the Ohio State offensive line helped the Buckeyes post a 10-2 record, with the lone losses against Oregon and Michigan.

Ohio State closes out the season with a matchup vs. Utah in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.
