Omar Cooper Jr. lands on head to complete eye-popping catch vs. Michigan

Omar Cooper Jr. has had a quiet afternoon for Indiana as the Hoosiers have fallen into a huge hole against Michigan. However, he did step up to produce a wild Catch of the Year candidate during the rainy Saturday action.
After going up high near the sideline to grab a pass, Cooper was hit by a Michigan defender with his legs flying up from underneath him. As he flipped head over heels, Cooper had no chance to get a hand or a foot inbounds.
Fortunately, his head landed just inside the line to complete the catch. The play would be reviewed but was upheld as a catch.
“This is one of the best catches of the year… Watch right here: The first ting to touch is head before the hand, before the shoulder,” said Joel Klatt in the breakdown. “Not even get a left knee. I think what they’ll look at then is if he maintained control.”

The Hoosiers might be on their way to another loss, but Cooper’s catch is one of the best you’ll see at any level of football this weekend.
