On3 released its transfer players of the week for Week 3 Sunday morning.
From the ACC, it was wide receiver Johnny Wilson from Florida State. Wilson transferred from Arizona State, where he had just 18 receptions in two seasons. He had seven receptions for 149 yards and a pair of touchdowns on Saturday.
In the B1G it was wide receive Charlie Jones of Purdue. Jones, who has played for Buffalo and Iowa, nabbed 11 receptions for 188 yards and a touchdown in the loss to Syracuse Saturday.
In the Big 12, Tennessee transfer Eric Gray got the nod from On3. The Oklahoma running back 113 yards and two touchdowns on just 11 carries in Oklahoma’s dismantling of Nebraska. Gray transferred from Tennessee after Jeremy Pruitt was fired.
Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. of Washington was the Pac 12’s transfer of the week. The Indiana transfer threw for 397 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win against Michigan State.
In the SEC, LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels took transfer of the week. The Arizona State transfer threw for 210 yards and a touchdown while also picking up 97 rushing yards.
In the Group of 5, Bowling Green quarterback Matt McDonald was the player of the week. The Boston College transfer had 280 passing yards and 4 touchdowns in the overtime win.
