It’s time to go to work!

After a lot of speculation and a lengthy pursuit, Rutgers landed Greg Schiano to fill the vacancy at head coach. Schiano returns to the Scarlet Knights after leading the team from 2001-11. He posted a 68-67 record in his time there and posted five bowl wins in his last six seasons.

Schiano’s return to Rutgers will be his first stop as a head coach since his time in the NFL with Tampa Bay from 2012-13. Since that time, Schiano served as a member of Urban Meyer’s Ohio State staff from 2016-18.

The task ahead is not going to be easy, but there’s no denying Schiano appears to be the man for the job. As a way to welcome him back, Rutgers released a hype video for his return to the program.
