We’re 1 week closer to the end of the season and that means the list of unbeaten teams is growing shorter and shorter.

After this week’s slate of games, there are only 11 undefeated teams left in college football and the B1G has 2 of them.

Michigan State improved to 7-0 after surviving a scare from Indiana on Saturday, and Michigan is 6-0 after having this week off.

The other 9 undefeated teams include Wake Forest, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Georgia, Cincinnati, SMU, UTSA, San Diego State, and Coastal Carolina.

It’s weird not seeing Alabama and Clemson on that list as both schools have been contenders for the last decade. The Tigers already have 2 losses this season (Georgia and NC State), while the Crimson Tide lost to Texas A&M last Saturday.

The Bearcats are in a prime position to potentially steal a playoff spot from a Power 5 school. All they likely need to do is win out and they’ll be in the top 4 by the end of the season.

This list can and will change as the season goes on, especially when “Bedlam” happens between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, and when Michigan plays Michigan State.
