Oregon improved to 6-0 and moved into a share of first place in the Big Ten with a win over Ohio State on Sunday.
The good news continued for Dan Lanning and his staff on Sunday as they landed a big recruit from the 2026 cycle. Defensive lineman Tomuhini Topui, a product of national power Mater Dei in California, announced that he had committed to the Ducks, their sixth pledge of the class. That includes high school teammate Kodi Greene, the nation’s No. 4 offensive tackle, who committed to the Ducks in August.

The 6-foot-3, 320-pound Topui has put together an impressive junior campaign. Through 5 games, he has 19 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks — even adding a 50-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Topui’s commit adds to what is currently the No. 4 class in the country, according to 247Sports.
While Topui is in the fold for 2026, Lanning is trying to put the wraps on his 2025 class, currently coming in at No. 8 nationally. That one includes a pair of 5-star recruits including the nation’s top wide receiver Dakorien Moore and the No. 1 safety in Trey McNutt. Dallas Wilson, the nation’s No. 8 WR, is the third top 50 recruit on the list (No. 40).
