When 3rd-ranked Oregon faces Idaho on Saturday night in Eugene, history will be made. The Ducks will play a football game for the 1st time as a member of the Big Ten.
No more Pac-12. A whole new era of Oregon football will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET, and the Ducks released their injury report earlier Saturday for the season-opening matchup.
The Ducks listed the following players as out: defensive back Jahlil Florence, cornerback Dakoda Fields, defensive back Ify Obidegwu, offensive lineman Dave Iuli, tight end Travis Brashear and defensive lineman My’Keil Gardner.

Oregon listed the following players as questionable: wide receiver Gary Bryant Jr., offensive lineman Matthew Bedford and kicker Andrew Boyle.
While the Ducks won’t be playing a Big Ten game on Saturday night against Idaho, a member of the Big Sky Conference, it will be Oregon’s 1st time lining up on a field as a Big Ten team.
Saturday night’s matchup at Autzen Stadium will begin a season with the same high expectations that Oregon carries into nearly every year, no matter what conference it’s playing in.
The game can be seen on Big Ten Network, which is a sign that things in Eugene have changed in 2024.
