Oregon reveals uniform combination for ranked matchup vs. Illinois

Oregon is getting ready to play its first game of the season as the No. 1 team in the country, but it will not be an easy task. The Ducks will face a ranked opponent when Illinois comes to Autzen Stadium on Saturday.
Though the Illini were not heavily thought of coming into the season, Bret Bielema’s squad has shined so far this season, including last week’s win and lockdown performance against Michigan. Illinois has just one loss on the year, and that came on the road against Penn State, one of the other top teams in the country.
Meanwhile, Oregon started the season with some sluggish performances but has since shot up the rankings. As other top teams fell by the wayside, the Ducks have claimed the No. 1 spot in the AP Poll on the strength of wins over Ohio State and Boise State earlier in the year.
Dan Lanning’s group can further cement their pole position with a win against Illinois, and the Ducks dropped their uniforms for the weekend Wednesday night. Oregon will be recycling the “Stomp Out Cancer” uniforms but with a twist.
The uniforms and helmets are from the “Stomp Out Cancer” combination with the neon yellow jersey a staple. However, the Ducks are adding black pants this week for a black-yellow-black combination that will look spectacular come Saturday.
Flock in.
