Oregon recruiting is on fire right now.
The Ducks stayed hot with a new commitment on Friday. Elite wide receiver Xavier Sabb is now part of Oregon‘s 2027 recruiting class.
Out of Glassboro (New Jersey) High School, Sabb is listed as measuring 6-1, 195 pounds. On Rivals, he’s a 5-star wide receiver prospect. The 247Sports Composite rates him a 4-star ATH, the No. 2 player in the state of New Jersey, No. 3 ATH prospect and No. 44 overall recruit in the Class of 2027.
As one would expect, Sabb was a highly recruited prospect, drawing interest from coast to coast. Alabama, Colorado, Florida State, Georgia Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State, Ole Miss and USC were among Sabb’s listed 26 scholarship offers.
For Thursday’s decision, it came down to a choice between Oregon, UCLA, LSU, and Tennessee. It was another big-time win for Dan Lanning’s staff.
“I feel like that was the best fit for me and my family. Also, I feel like that’s the best chance I can get to win a national championship,” Sabb told Rivals after announcing his commitment.
