Oregon fell behind to Ohio State 7-0 in the first quarter in a massive game at Autzen Stadium in Eugene on Saturday, but set itself up with a short field and a touchdown thanks to a turnover caused by Derrick Harmon.
With the Buckeyes facing a 3rd and 10 at their own 28, Quinshon Judkins took a carry and was immediately met at the line of scrimmage. As he went down to the ground, he had the ball taken out of his hands by Harmon, giving the Ducks great field position.

Two plays later, the Ducks were in the end zone. Jordan James broke off a 25-yard run, then took it in from 3 yards out to make it 7-6. The Ducks, though, missed the ensuing 2-point conversion.
The Ducks, No. 3, and the Buckeyes, No. 2, entered the day with identical 5-0 records, including a 2-0 mark in the Big Ten. The winner of this one will move into a tie for first place in the B1G with Indiana, who is 6-0 and in the midst of an open week. Oregon and Ohio State are meeting for the first time as B1G opponents, while it’s the 11th time they’ve played each other overall.
Oregon-Ohio State is on NBC and Peacock.
