Oregon wide receiver Justius Lowe was injured in Saturday’s game against Wisconsin, and his status for the remainder of the game is still up in the air.

In the first quarter of the game, Lowe was going across the middle of the field when Dillon Gabriel targeted him with a pass. Lowe could not complete the catch as he was leveled by a Wisconsin defender and remained on the turf for an extended period of time.

After being helped off the field, Lowe was taken straight to the injury tent to be evaluated. Though he was never taken to the locker room, he was tended to for a while inside the tent before returning to the sidelines.

Lowe was seen with his helmet after being evaluated but did not return to the action before halftime. He had just 1 catch for 2 yards before the injury, and any prolonged absence would leave Oregon even thinner at receiver.

Lowe entered the weekend as the team’s 6th-leading receiver, but the Ducks are still playing without Tez Johnson who was ruled out for Week 12. The good news is Gary Bryant Jr. was not on the injury report ahead of kickoff and has been active.

At halftime, Evan Stewart leads Oregon with 8 catches for 72 yards while Bryant also has a 6-yard catch. Unfortunately, the Ducks are going to need a much cleaner 2nd half after being held out of the end zone and trailing 10-6 at the break.
