Orlando columnist convinced Scott Frost leaving UCF after interview

The Scott Frost to Nebraska rumors seem to have some series validity. As if the lack of urgency from newly appointed athletic director Bill Moos isn’t enough evidence, one Orlando columnist can provide a little more.
Mike Bianchi is a columnist for the Orlando Sentinel and covers UCF, the team Frost has led to an 11-0 regular season and a No. 14 ranking in the College Football Playoff poll. Recently, Bianchi had the opportunity to interview the Knights head coach and talk briefly about his future with the program.
Frost never said definitively whether or not he was leaving UCF, but Bianchi is convinced that Frost’s time in Orlando is coming to an end.
“As Frost answered those questions, it felt almost as if he was saying goodbye to Orlando — a goodbye that is coming way too quickly,” Bianchi wrote. “It seems he’s only been here a minute even though he has provided us with the memories of a lifetime. I hope I’m wrong, but there’s little question in my mind now that Frost will be the next head coach of the Huskers.”
The most notable statement Frost made in Bianchi’s interview was that he was glad he “was the one to help get this place back to where it should be.”
Frost has been rumored to be the leader in the clubhouse for the Nebraska job even before Mike Riley was fired from the position. But Frost has refused to talk about, saying the focus should be on his UCF players.
It seems like just a matter of time until Frost is back in his home state and wearing Cornhusker red.
