OSU announces Players of the Game for hard-fought win over Nebraska

It may have taken a while to get rolling, but Ohio State was able to get past a slow first half in taking down Nebraska Saturday.

Following a slow start, the Buckeyes put up 20 points after the break while holding on for a 36-31 win over the Cornhuskers. Head coach Urban Meyer was complimentary of Nebraska after the game, but the close win was a nerve-wracking one for fans.

On Sunday, Ohio State announced Players of the Game for their part in the win. Defensively, Brendon White was selected after a 13-tackle performance. On the other side of the ball, the entire offensive line was recognized. The unit paved the way for 229 yards on the ground and three JK Dobbins touchdowns.

The special teams unit was led by Keandre Jones. Jones blocked a Nebraska punt that was turned into a safety and two points for the Buckeyes.
