Amir Riep has never played a snap for Ohio State, but he might already be a fan favorite.

The four-star cornerback took an unconventional route on National Signing Day. Instead of using the typical fax machine, Riep decided to go with a method even more traditional than the outdated fax machine.

He went to Columbus and personally delivered his National Letter of Intent to the Buckeye staff:

The Cincinnati native had been committed to the Buckeyes since the day after they hosted him for “Friday Night Lights” over the summer.

If that’s any indication of Riep’s work ethic, it won’t be long before he finds his way into the defensive back rotation.
